Reflection

Today we finished writing up a filming schedule for Sunday. I converted the files and dragged them all into Final Cut Pro ready for editing. I also set up the logging on word.

Converting Files + Logging Notes

Drag file in (name files something relevant when saving)
top left - > file -> export to QuickTime
Settings
1280 x 720 (unscaled)
Apple Intermediate Codec
Quality 50%
Interlaced Scaling
Uppear Field First
No Rotation
Save onto Hard Drive
Open Final Cut Pro
files on the very left- all footages
timeline on the bottom - video on top, audio on the bottom
files can be dragged onto timeline

Lighting

If the Key Light is too strong for the object. A reflector such as a mirrored cardboard or simply a white cardboard, could be used to bounce the light which is shining away from the object to the object with a softer light.
